The story behind the livery
Philippine Airlines was one of the earliest Asian carriers to embrace British jet technology, operating the BAC 1-11 sr.500 on domestic and regional routes throughout the 1970s. The aircraft served PAL during a period of rapid network growth, connecting Manila with provincial cities and neighbouring countries at a time when air travel was transforming mobility across Southeast Asia.
