The story behind the livery
The Shorts 360 was the natural evolution of the 330, featuring a lengthened fuselage that increased passenger capacity from 30 to 36 seats — a meaningful improvement for the thin regional routes of Thailand and Cambodia that Bangkok Airways served in the early 1990s. Bangkok Airways operated both the 330 and the 360 during this period, deploying them across its growing network of leisure and resort destinations in mainland Southeast Asia. The 1993 livery is identical in scheme to the Shorts 330 of the same year, giving collectors the opportunity to build a perfectly matched pair representing both variants in Bangkok Airways service at the same moment in the airline's history.
