The story behind the livery

Nora Air Service was a small West German charter airline that operated briefly in the early 1970s, flying the Vickers Viscount VC-814 on leisure and charter routes at a time when West Germany's package holiday boom was just beginning to reshape European aviation. The airline's short operational life and tiny fleet make its livery one of the rarest subjects in German aviation modelling history — a true collector's piece that almost no other manufacturer has ever produced.

For modelers specialising in obscure German carrier liveries, Nora Air Service sits alongside Air Commerz and General Air as one of the most elusive subjects in the vintage West German charter sector. This decal is essentially the only way to recreate it accurately at any scale.
