The story behind the livery
By 1977, Far Eastern Air Transport had refined its livery into a slightly updated scheme that distinguishes this version from the earlier 1975 design — making it a separate and equally important subject for collectors focused on Taiwanese aviation history. FAT continued to fly the Viscount as jet aircraft began to dominate the island's routes, making these later-year turboprop operations a fascinating transitional moment in the airline's history.
Together with the 1975 scheme, this decal allows modelers to document the full arc of FAT's Viscount livery evolution. Both are rare subjects that no major commercial decal manufacturer has produced in depth — available here exclusively.
